Cello, French Horn, & Trumpet
Marie-Hélène holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Licentiate in Arts from Laval University (Quebec City). She studied advanced cello at the Royal Conservatory of Music, privately and in the String Quartet Program. She is currently a member of the Quinte Symphony Orchestra, and has previously performed with such ensembles as Counterpoint Orchestra (Toronto) and the Northumberland Orchestra and Choir. She often plays in musical festivals and participates in church activities, and is fluent in French and Spanish.
She has studied French horn privately, and currently plays with the Concert Band of Cobourg (The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Association, Ontario) and participates in parades and military tattoos throughout Ontario and beyond.
In her spare time she is an avid student of Flamenco dance, and often travels to the south of Spain.
